Some days, life’s a knot I can't untie,
a shoelace caught in a whirlwind,
twisting and turning, and I swear
I hear it laughing at me.

I try to smooth out the edges,
but the more I pull, the tighter it gets—
a tangle of worries, doubts, and dreams,
all jumbled in a ball I carry.

And yet, I keep on threading my fingers through,
finding little spaces where hope sneaks in—
a crack in the pavement, a flicker of sunlight
on a day when everything feels heavy.

Because maybe struggles are just stories,
and stories are meant to be told aloud—
with a laugh, a cry, a stubborn smile,
until the knot begins to loosen just enough.
